Hampstead is a suburb on the island of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is an independent municipality surrounded by Montreal boroughs.

It is a small, affluent, residential suburb of that is around 1.80 square kilometers in size and only 20 minutes away from downtown Montreal. The town was built in 1914 and was intended to be an exclusive garden city styled after Hampstead Village in the United Kingdom. The city can be found on both the right and left sides of Fleet Road. As one travels along Fleet Road towards Cote St Luc, the newer portion is on the right while the older section is on the left.
