Saint-Vincent-de-Paul
Saint-Vincent-de-Paul is a neighborhood of Laval. It is, along with Sainte-Rose, one of the Laval’s oldest districts, with roots dating back to the church of the same title, formed in 1740 and dedicated after Saint Vincent de Paul.
it is a pleasant district in Laval, just north of Montreal. The Rivière-des-Prairies, which connects Laval and Montreal, borders it to the south. Boulevard Pie IX borders the region to the west, while Highway 25 borders it to the east. Highway 440 goes parallel to the north side. Duvernay is bounded on all three sides by St-Vincent.
The city is known for having a bit of a village-like ambiance.
If you go to the waterfront, you’ll discover gorgeous homes and little, one-of-a-kind restaurants and cafes. Many folks may be seen pedaling their bicycles or relaxing in the park beside the water.
Located south of Ile Jesus, Saint-Vincent-de-Paul faces the Montreal neighborhoods of Ahuntsic and Montreal North. It is a primarily French-speaking residential area with mostly homes and a few condos. This neighborhood will appeal to middle-class residents looking for a calm place to live but is only a few minutes away from Montreal because of the Pie IX Bridge.

The atmosphere is similar to that of a tiny village. The modest, casual cafés and old stone houses of Vieux Saint-Vincent–de-Paul will enchant you.

- The Nature Center
Nature viewing at its finest. There are flowers everywhere. It is free to visit the farm. On a Sunday afternoon, it’s a great place to spend time with family or friends.
Possibly the nicest park in town. It’s almost like a botanical garden, complete with big playgrounds, animals, ponds, and even a little train ride in the heart of it all.
- Colisée de Laval or Laval Coliseum
The Colisée de Laval is a multi-purpose arena featuring 3,500 seats in St-Vincent-de-Paul, Laval. It was built in 1954 and has stood as the home of several minor league and junior hockey teams.
After securing a five-year lease, the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey’s Les Pétroliers du Nord relocated to Colisée de Laval in 2019.
The Laval-Bourassa Régents play there, as did the Laval Titan until they became the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in 1998. In 1994, the colisée hosted the Memorial Cup.
