Laval-des-Rapides

Laval-des-Rapides is a district in the Canadian city of Laval. Until the municipal mergers on August 6, 1965, it was an independent city.

Chomedey borders the district on the north, north-west, and west, Pont-Viau borders the east and north-east, and the Rivière des Prairies borders the south.

Laval-des-Rapides is one of Laval’s busiest, central districts. It is well known for housing the Laval campus of the University of Montreal.
