Charming Scandinavian-style wooden house with a warm
interior. The large windows allow you to enjoy a
breathtaking view of the lake. Outside, a large wooden
gallery leads to an elegant 16-foot octagonal gazebo with
mosquito net, also built in pine, like the house. The roof
is covered with high-quality sheet metal with a baked and
guaranteed finish.
On the ground level on the lake side, double French doors
open onto a spacious family room with a superb stone
fireplace. This level also includes a full bathroom with
shower and laundry room as well as an additional good-sized
bedroom.
The shed and the double garage are built in logs. The
garage, with a heated concrete slab, is equipped with a
slow combustion stove for more comfort. It has an electric
door, an additional access door, as well as two windows,
offering an ideal space for tinkering.
In the event of a power outage, a 60-kilowatt generator
takes over to power the entire house.
The Lac Taureau reservoir, located in the Lanaudière region
of Quebec, is one of the largest artificial bodies of water
in the province. It is located primarily in the
municipality of Saint-Michel-des-Saints, a picturesque
village surrounded by mountains, dense forests and majestic
lakes, about a 2-hour drive north of Montreal.
Lac Taureau is known for its splendid white-sand beaches,
its numerous islands and its wide variety of water
activities. With a perimeter of nearly 250 km, it is the
ideal playground for hiking, snowmobiling and ATV
enthusiasts.
The village is the main access point to the reservoir and
is an important hub for visitors wishing to enjoy outdoor
activities.
Saint-Michel-des-Saints also offers many hiking trails,
mountain biking trails.
The region is very lively in both summer and winter with
several events, including the Saint-Michel-des-Saints
Winter Festival, showcasing local traditions, and
