Terrebonne is suburb in the north shore, Lanaudière area in southwest Quebec, Canada. It is located just north of Montreal and Laval on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies and the Rivière des Mille-Îles.

Lachenaie, La Plaine, and Terrebonne are the three divisions of this city. These areas used to be separate cities, but on August 22, 2001, they combined to form Terrebonne. Terrebonne is the fourth-largest suburb of Montreal, with a population over 119,135.

Terrebonne, which is less than half an hour away from Montréal, is known to be the main entry point to southern Lanaudière. The spectacular architecture of its buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as its numerous cultural and athletic activities, make it one of Québec’s finest heritage sites.
