Pointe-Calumet

Pointe-Calumet is a municipality in the province of Quebec. Within the Laurentides region’s Deux-Montagnes Regional County Municipality is where the municipality is located. A half-hour drive northwest of Montreal will bring you there.

The town lies close to the West Island of Montreal on the northern shores of the Ottawa River, the Rivière des Mille Îles, and the Lake of Two Mountains, which all flow into the Saint Lawrence River to the south.

Quebec Autoroute 640, which connects Laval, Saint-Eustache, Terrebonne, and Repentigny, provides access to Pointe-Calumet for travelers coming from the Montreal region and areas east. Pointe-Calumet is close to the commuter train that connects Downtown Montreal with Deux-Montagnes. Additionally, along with connecting the Grenville region, north of Hawkesbury, Ontario, and the northern Montreal suburbs, Quebec Route 344 also passes through the town.

The town was reported to have a population of 6,665 residents.
